Patriotic Poke Cake

A colorful and delicious cake that’s perfect for summer gatherings and celebrations, featuring vibrant red, white, and blue layers.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1 cup of blue jello
  • 1 cup of red jello
  • 1 cup of strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1 cup of whipped topping
  • Optional: food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the white cake mix, eggs, and water in a large bowl until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  4. Let the cake cool completely in the pan.
  5. Poke holes all over the cooled cake, about 1 inch apart.
  6. Prepare the blue and red jello as per package instructions.
  7. Layer the blue jello over the cake, then after it sets, pour the red jello in the same manner.
  8. Chill the cake in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
  9. Spread whipped cream over the top of the jello-soaked cake and add chopped strawberries and blueberries.
  10. Serve and enjoy your delicious cake!

Notes

Allow the jello to set perfectly before adding toppings.
