Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

A protein-packed Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry that is quick, healthy, and delicious, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by slicing the beef and mincing the garlic and ginger.
  2. Marinate the beef in a bowl with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for at least 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat the pan over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
  4. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Incorporate minced garlic and ginger, stirring for 30 seconds.
  6. Add the broccoli florets and cook until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Stir everything together, season as needed, and thicken the sauce if desired.
  8. Serve over cooked rice and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicy kick, add sliced red chili peppers or a drizzle of sriracha. This dish can also be made vegan by substituting beef with seitan or tofu.
