Cheesy and Crispy Ground Beef Tacos

Deliciously cheesy and crispy ground beef tacos, perfect for Taco Tuesdays and family dinners!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (90% lean)
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • Taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Season the beef with taco seasoning and add a splash of water to mix the spices well.
  3. Assemble your taco shells and crisp them as per package instructions.
  4. Cheese the beef by sprinkling shredded cheese over it in the pan, cover until melted.
  5. Build your tacos by filling the shells with beef, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or plant-based meat. Enhance flavors by adding onions or garlic while cooking the beef.
