Cherry Smoothie

A nourishing and delightful cherry smoothie, perfect for any time of the day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh cherries (pitted)
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any preferred liquid)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • A handful of ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Pit fresh cherries and slice the banana.
  2. Combine the cherries and banana in the blender.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt and pour in the almond milk.
  4. Sweeten up with honey or maple syrup if desired.
  5. Splash in the vanilla extract.
  6. Blend on high for 30 seconds to a minute, scraping down the sides as needed.
  7. Adjust consistency by adding more almond milk or ice to your liking.
  8. Taste and adjust sweetness as necessary.
  9. Serve immediately in a favorite glass or bowl.

Notes

For an extra touch, garnish with whole cherries or granola. You can also try adding hidden spinach for a nutrient boost!
