  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (like Cheddar or Parmesan)
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Optional: Chopped Parsley for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your pasta of choice and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and save about 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add cooking oil, then add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Add Garlic: Toss in the minced garlic and stir until fragrant.
  4. Make it Creamy: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir and let simmer until thickened, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Cheesy Goodness: Stir in the shredded cheese until melted and mixed into the sauce. Adjust seasoning as necessary.
  6. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce, adding more pasta water if it’s too thick.
  7. Plate It Up: Serve in bowls, garnished with grated parmesan and chopped parsley.
