Ultimate Refreshing Cucumber Salad

A crisp and refreshing cucumber salad, perfect for summer picnics and family BBQs.

Ingredients

  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Wash cucumbers under cool water.
  2. Slice the cucumbers into thin rounds or half-moons.
  3. Chop the red onion into thin slices.
  4. Prepare the dressing by whisking together the vinegar, olive oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix together the sliced cucumbers, red onions, and dill in a bowl.
  6. Chill in the fridge for about 15-30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the salad with a final toss and garnish with more dill.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days. Keep the dressing separate if making in advance to maintain crispness.
