Dump And Bake Chicken Parmesan Casserole

A comforting, high-protein twist on a classic chicken parmesan, made easy with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 2 cups cooked, diced chicken
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. Combine the cooked pasta, diced chicken, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Layer half of the pasta mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Add one cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the pasta layer.
  6. Finish with the remaining pasta mixture and top with remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve garnished with fresh basil or parsley, and consider offering garlic bread or a green salad on the side.
