  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese with the granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the bottom of your prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Slice the fresh strawberries and sprinkle them over the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the strawberries and drizzle with melted butter.
  6. Pour the milk over the entire mixture gently.
