Homemade Chocolate Mint Tea

A delightful and soothing blend of chocolate and fresh mint, perfect for winding down or impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 510 fresh mint leaves
  • 16 ounces hot water
  • 1/4 teaspoon chocolate extract (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa or cacao powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the water by boiling 16 ounces of water in a kettle or pot.
  2. Muddle the mint leaves in a mug or small bowl.
  3. Add chocolate extract or cocoa/cacao powder to the muddled mint.
  4. Pour the hot water over the mixture.
  5. Steep for about 5-7 minutes, covering to keep heat in.
  6. Strain the tea into another mug to remove mint leaves.
  7. Garnish with a fresh mint leaf or cocoa powder, and enjoy!

Notes

Customize by adding sweeteners or using brewed coffee for a mocha twist.
