A light and fruity dessert, layered with fluffy angel food cake, cream cheese, whipped topping, and an array of colorful fruits.

  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup banana slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the angel food cake mix with 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into an ungreased tube pan. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden.
  2. Cool the cake upside down to maintain fluffiness, taking about an hour.
  3. Beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a medium bowl until smooth.
  4. Fold in the whipped topping carefully to maintain airiness.
  5. Slice the cooled cake into horizontal layers using a serrated knife.
  6. Assemble by placing one layer of cake on a serving plate, spreading the cream cheese mixture, and adding a portion of the sliced fruits. Repeat for each layer, finishing with cream cheese and fruits on top.
  7. Chill the assembled cake in the fridge for at least two hours before serving.
