High-Protein Honey Garlic Shrimp

A delicious and easy-to-make high-protein dish featuring shrimp cooked in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Prep your shrimp by rinsing under cold water and patting dry.
  2. Whisk the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl until the honey is dissolved.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the shrimp in a single layer, cooking for 1-2 minutes per side until pink.
  5. Add the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and stir to coat, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Plate the shrimp hot over steamed rice or vegetables, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Feel free to substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu. Adjust the honey for a lower sugar option.
