Fresh Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Chips

A colorful and refreshing fruit salsa served with delicious cinnamon sugar chips, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1 cup diced strawberries
  • 1 cup diced mango
  • 1 cup diced kiwi
  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter or cooking spray for brushing

Instructions

  1. Prep the fruit: Wash and prep all fresh fruits. Dice the strawberries, mango, kiwi, and pineapple into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix it up: In a mixing bowl, combine your diced fruit with lime juice and honey. Gently toss to coat.
  3. Let it marinate: Cover the bowl and let the salsa sit in the fridge for about 15–30 minutes.
  4. Prepare the cinnamon sugar chips: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush tortillas lightly with melted butter.
  5. Cinnamon sugar time: Mix sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle generously on the buttered side of the tortillas.
  6. Cut the tortillas: Slice each tortilla into wedges.
  7. Bake for crunch: Arrange tortilla wedges on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Cool and serve: Let chips cool for a few minutes and serve with the marinated fruit salsa.

Notes

For a lower-calorie version, use a sugar substitute. Feel free to experiment with different fruits and spices!
