Mango Strawberry Sorbet

A refreshing homemade mango strawberry sorbet, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (about 2 cups)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar (adjust based on sweetness preference)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (optional, for added brightness)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Fruits: Start by peeling and dicing the mangoes. Make sure to remove the pit! Next, hull and slice the strawberries.
  2. Toss the diced mangoes, sliced strawberries, sugar, water, and lime juice (if using) into your blender.
  3. Blend until everything is well combined—about 1-2 minutes should do the trick!
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Pour the blended mixture into a shallow dish or freezer-safe container.
  6. Chill in the freezer for about 3-4 hours, stirring every hour to break up ice crystals.
  7. Scoop & Serve, using a warm ice cream scoop or spoon for easier serving.

Notes

For added flavor, you can substitute half of the water with coconut water. This sorbet can last in the freezer for 2-3 weeks when stored properly.
