Boozy Cherry Bombs

A fun and festive treat that combines sweet maraschino cherries soaked in rum and coated in white chocolate, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 Large Jars of Maraschino Cherries with Stems (3033 count)
  • 1 Package of Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1/2 Cup of Malibu Rum
  • Bright Blue Sanding Sugar

Instructions

  1. Soak the cherries in Malibu rum for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  2. Prepare the melting wafers by melting them in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler until smooth.
  3. Coat each cherry in the melted white chocolate, then place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Add bright blue sanding sugar while the chocolate is still wet.
  5. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes until the chocolate is firm.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, soak cherries in coconut water or fruit juice. Consider using different flavored liquors for unique variations.
