Cozy Chicken Noodle Casserole

  • 8 oz Egg Noodles
  • 2 cups Chicken Breast, cooked and diced
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 ½ cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. Prepare the chicken by seasoning and cooking until fully cooked (165°F internal temperature). Shred or chop into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Create the casserole base by mixing egg noodles, chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, and melted butter in a large bowl, then stir in salt and pepper.
  5. Fold in the cheddar cheese into the noodle mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Top with breadcrumbs and the remaining cheese.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
