  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Green Onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken in a resealable bag, pour marinade over, seal, and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat Your Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Bake the Chicken: Pour remaining marinade over chicken in the skillet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Garnish and Serve: Let chicken rest for a few minutes, then garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of ginger to the marinade or try different variations like spicy honey garlic or honey garlic shrimp.
