Mexican Fruit Salad

A vibrant and refreshing Mexican Fruit Salad loaded with juicy fruits and a zingy kick from lime and chili powder, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Cantaloupe
  • Watermelon
  • Pineapple
  • Cucumber
  • Jicama
  • Lime Juice
  • Chili Powder or Tajín
  • Favorite Fresh Fruit (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by washing all fruits and vegetables properly.
  2. Cut the cantaloupe in half, scoop out the seeds, and cut into bite-sized cubes.
  3. Slice the watermelon into wedges, remove the rind, and cube it.
  4. Chop the pineapple into juicy, medium-sized pieces.
  5. Peel and slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
  6. Prep the jicama by peeling it and cutting it into sticks or cubes.
  7. Mix all the fruits and cucumber in a large mixing bowl.
  8. Add fresh lime juice and sprinkle with chili powder/Tajín, mixing gently.
  9. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve fresh in a bowl, optionally garnished with mint.

Notes

For added personalization, feel free to include your favorite fresh fruits or spices. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
