Strawberry Crackle Salad

A delightful blend of sweet strawberries, chewy marshmallows, and crunchy graham crackers, perfect for potlucks or summer cookouts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your strawberries: Start by washing the strawberries thoroughly under cool water. Pat them dry gently with a clean towel, and then slice off the green tops before slicing the strawberries into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix the goodies: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, mini marshmallows, and granulated sugar (if using). Stir gently until everything is coated.
  3. Whip it good: In another bowl, spoon in your whipped topping. Fold the whipped topping into the strawberry mixture using a spatula.
  4. Add the crunch: Mix in the crushed graham crackers and toss in the nuts if you’re including them.
  5. Chill it out: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the fridge for at least an hour.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Scoop the salad into individual bowls or a large serving dish and top with graham cracker crumbs or whole strawberries if desired.
