Rich and Buttery Pumpkin Bread

A moist and buttery pumpkin bread packed with warm spices, perfect for cozy fall evenings.

  • 1 2/3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 cup Softened Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Warm Milk
  • 2 Large Eggs (Room Temperature)
  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×5 inch loaf pan by greasing it with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Cream the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the pumpkin puree, then beat in the eggs one at a time.
  6. Pour in the warm milk and vanilla extract and combine.
  7. Combine the wet and dry mixtures, folding gently to avoid overmixing.
  8. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
