  • 1 cup espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by lightly greasing it with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Mix the pumpkin puree and espresso in a medium bowl until fully combined.
  4. Layer the pumpkin and espresso mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Add the chocolate cake mix evenly over the pumpkin layer.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the cake mix layer.
  7. Melt the butter and drizzle it evenly over the chocolate chip layer.
