Ingredients

Scale
  • Bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 yellow onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (or dried)

  2. Sear the chops in a skillet with melted butter for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Let the chops rest after cooking to keep them juicy.
  4. Sauté the onions in the same skillet until caramelized.
  5. Deglaze with apple cider, scraping up flavorful bits, and let it simmer.
  6. Add fresh thyme to the sauce in the last minute of cooking.
  7. Return the pork chops to the skillet to coat with the apple cider sauce.
  8. Serve with the sauce drizzled over the top.
