Pumpkin Pear Ginger Dump Cake

A cozy fall dessert that combines the warm flavors of pumpkin, the sweetness of pears, and a zing of ginger in an easy-to-make dump cake.

  • 1 (15 oz) can Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 cups Diced Pears
  • 1 (15.25 oz) box Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger (or 1 teaspoon powdered)
  • 1 cup Walnuts (optional)
  • ½ cup Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish, greasing it with non-stick cooking spray or butter.
  3. Combine the pumpkin puree and diced pears in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the spice cake mix evenly over the pumpkin-pear mixture.
  5. Season with grated fresh ginger or powdered ginger.
  6. Top with coarsely chopped walnuts if using.
  7. Melt the butter and drizzle it evenly over the cake mix.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, drizzled with caramel sauce or a dollop of whipped cream. You can also try adding chocolate chips or using different spices for variations.
