4th of July Fruit Platter – American Flag

A vibrant and refreshing fruit platter shaped like the American flag, perfect for your 4th of July celebrations.

  • 2 cups Strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • 2 Bananas, sliced
  • 1 medium Watermelon, sliced
  • 1 cup White Grapes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruits: Wash all your fruits thoroughly under cool running water, and dry them gently.
  2. Slice the Watermelon: Cut the watermelon into thick slices, about 1-2 inches wide.
  3. Arrange the Watermelon: Place the watermelon slices on a large platter to create the base of your flag.
  4. Add Strawberries for the Red Stripes: Halve the strawberries and place them on top of the watermelon slices.
  5. Create the Blue Corner: Place the blueberries in the top left corner of the platter.
  6. Slice the Bananas: Cut the bananas into thick rounds and lay them next to the blueberries.
  7. Finish with White Grapes: Scatter the white grapes around the bananas and in the gap between watermelon slices.
  8. Drizzle and Chill: Optionally drizzle honey over the top and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This platter is perfect for gatherings and can be prepared a few hours in advance. For extra flavor, serve with yogurt or honey on the side.
