4th of July Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Deliciously festive chocolate-covered strawberries perfect for your Independence Day celebration.

Ingredients

  • 24 Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 Cup White Candy Melts or White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1/2 Cup Red, White, and Blue Nonpareil Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prep the strawberries by washing them under cool water and patting them dry. Lay them out on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. If using chocolate chips, add a teaspoon of shortening.
  3. Dip each strawberry by holding it by the stem and swilling it in the melted chocolate to coat.
  4. Add the sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
  5. Let them set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Serve and enjoy your chocolate-covered strawberries!
