Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 can (15 oz) Black Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Onion, diced

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika

Instructions

  1. Sauté aromatics by heating olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cooking until translucent (3-4 minutes).

  3. Brown the ground turkey in the center of the pot, cooking for about 5-6 minutes until fully browned.
  4. Sprinkle in the spices—cumin, chili powder, paprika, and cayenne. Stir and cook for 2 minutes to release flavors.
  5. Add the drained beans and diced tomatoes, stirring to combine thoroughly.
  6. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
