  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups very hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up while we prepare our delicious mix.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine your flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter (or oil), and vanilla until well-combined.
  4. Mix It Together: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently.
  5. Prepare the Dish: In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the batter evenly.
  6. Add Sweetness: In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining granulated sugar, brown sugar, and chopped pecans. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the cobbler batter.
  7. Pour the hot water over the mixture.
  8. Bake: Place your dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 45–50 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  9. Cool and Serve: Once baked, let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
