Ingredients
Scale
1 pound Ground Beef
4–6 pieces Flour Tortillas
2–3 pieces Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
1 cup Cream
1 cup Cheddar Cheese
To taste Spices (Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika, Cumin, etc.)
Optional Broth or Water
Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients: Start by gathering all your ingredients. Chop your chipotle peppers finely and have your spices ready.
Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add your ground beef. Break it apart with a wooden spoon and let it cook until it’s browned for about 7-10 minutes.
Spice It Up: Once the beef is cooked, sprinkle in your spices and stir to coat the beef.
Add the Chipotle: Stir in the chipotle peppers and let everything simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
Make the Creamy Sauce: In a separate saucepan, heat the cream over low heat. Mix in the chipotle peppers and cheese until well combined.
Assemble the Burritos: Spoon some beef mixture into a tortilla and roll tightly.
Smother Them: Place the burritos in a baking dish and pour the creamy sauce over the top.
Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 20 minutes.
Serve Warm: Let them sit for a minute before slicing to make them easier to handle.
Notes
Serve with extra chipotle sauce, cilantro, and lime wedges for added flavor.
