Sunny Nectarine Smoothie

A refreshing and nutrient-packed smoothie bursting with the sweet flavor of ripe nectarines and banana.

  • 2 ripe nectarines, pitted and chopped
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup coconut milk (or any dairy-free milk)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: Setting out all your ingredients upfront makes the process smoother.
  2. Chop the nectarines and banana: Pit and chop your nectarines and slice your banana into manageable chunks.
  3. Add to the blender: Toss in your chopped nectarines and banana into your blender along with the coconut milk.
  4. Blend until smooth: Secure the lid and blend on high until everything is well combined and silky smooth.
  5. Taste and adjust: Taste your smoothie; add maple syrup or vanilla if desired, and blend again.
  6. Ice it up: If you want a chilled vibe, toss in some ice and blend once more.
  7. Serve it up: Pour your smoothie into a glass and garnish with a slice of nectarine or chia seeds if you wish.

Notes

Add protein powder or Greek yogurt for a protein boost. Substitute peaches if nectarines aren’t available.
