A simple and flavorful recipe for Honey Mustard Pork Chops, perfect for a hearty dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Pork Chops: Start by patting the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season each chop with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Make the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Marinate the Chops: Place the pork chops in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat Your Pan: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.
  5. Cook the Pork Chops: Add the pork chops to the pan and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  6. Add the Marinade: Spoon any remaining marinade over the chops in the last few minutes of cooking.
  7. Let Them Rest: Remove pork chops from the skillet, cover with aluminum foil, and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
  8. Plate and Serve: Slice the chops, arrange them on a plate, and drizzle with glaze from the pan. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add hot sauce to the marinade. If you prefer, you can use boneless pork chops, but adjust cooking time accordingly.
